In Carolyn’s class, students have been making digital presentations and delivering spoken Dragons’ Den pitches in English. We can’t hear their pitches here but we can look at their presentation slides and guess which one we would choose. Which one would you invest in?
In Christian’s class the students have been making their very own digital wildlife parks using QR codes. Students researched videos, images and texts online and then created QR (Quick Response) codes to link to the resources and texts they had written themselves. Then any other student using one of the school iPads or their own smartphone or tablet can then read the text or link to videos. It’s a great way to practise all English skills, 21st century digital literacy skills and bring wild habitats into the classroom.
